1 bird’s nest
1 bowl of water A handful of rock sugar to taste
3 jujube (optional)
2 optional longan
5 pieces of goji berries (optional)
3 pieces of Ginseng slices (optional)
=> Soak the bird’s nest in a bowl of water overnight (8-10 hours) until it widens and softens.
=> Add a bird’s nest soaked into 1 bowl of water, and other optional ingredients in a closed state.
=> Place a small bowl in a bigger place and make sure the water in the large pot starts to boil. After starting to boil, cover the small bowl and simmer for 15 minutes. When the bird’s nest has reached the desired texture, stir in enough sugar and cover for about 5 minutes so that the sugar dissolves completely. Serve at room temperature or cold.
